How do ex-combatants access an individual productive project?

Ex-combatants in the process of reincorporation interested in undertaking or strengthening an individual productive project can access the economic benefit of COP $ 8 million to leverage their business units in 10 steps. To date, the ARN has approved 1,255 individual projects, of which 1,243 have been disbursed for a total amount of COP $ 11.678 billion for the benefit of 1,463 ex-combatants.

‘Times of pandemic and solidarity’

This is what Marcos Guevara urges us to think through his photographs. The Farc-Ep ex-combatant who lives in Tierra Grata, in the department of Cesar, launched a campaign through his social networks to collect grocery kits and deliver them to those in most urgent need thereof. “We arrived at each house that we had identified; we told them where the resources came from and we’d make the delivery. Some just repeated: thank you, thank you very much”, says Marcos.

More than 10 measures to face Covid-19

ARN guaranteed 4 types of financial support for ex-combatants: 6,490 personal kits for those living in AETCRs and 2,142 food aid kits in 13 departments. In addition, ARN carried out actions to give continuity to processes of reincorporation, reintegration and Justice and Peace reintegration, in the midst of the health emergency.
