Over 1,400 ex-combatants have benefited from productive projects

Luis Arturo Garcés started his productive lulo crop initiative at former ETCR Llano Grande in Dabeiba, Antioquia. He trained for 12 weeks thanks to the productive training model designed by ARN; today, his production is marketed across the department. ARN has created 42 productive environments throughout the country, benefiting over 1,400 people in reintegration and reintegration processes. 

Farc-Ep ex-combatant amongst the best Public Administration students

Abelardo Caicedo has a 4.49 GPA and was awarded Enrollment of Honor by ESAP University. This ex-combatant in the process of reincorporation – and leader at former ETCR Tierra Grata, in Cesar – is pursuing Public Administration studies and has been recognized for his academic excellence. “The support of my colleagues and the ARN facilitator was paramount for me to join ESAP College. They motivated me to pursue a career and helped me with all the registration and enrollment formalities," exulted Caicedo.

Free and quality higher education for children of ex-combatants 

90 young people will access any of the 115 professional careers offered by Nariño University. Children of ex-combatants will benefit from special student positions granted by the institution. This achievement is the result of joint work conducted alongside ARN.
 

New technologies for ex-combatants’ productive projects 

Tech equipment was delivered to 19 cooperatives and associations of 570 Farc-Ep ex-combatants in total, to advance with the processes of organizational strengthening through the use of new technologies, and to market their products on virtual platforms. 

 

The Trifecta of Peace with Legality!

Marquetalia township – where now extinct Farc-Ep guerrilla was first born – is currently a productive tourist initiative that speaks about the history of Colombia and its reconciliation. 130 ex-combatants have worked to recover different trails. Tread along these paths of peace right here.
