More than 2,000 backpacks made by ex-combatants and victims are sold at Éxito stores
‘Todos Ponen’ – Everyone Pitches in – is an initiative developed in coordination with the European Union and the World Women’s Corporation. This initiative contributes to ecological and social transformation, and brings ex-combatants and victims of the armed conflict together. 3,600 disused uniforms donated by the National Police were turned into 2,300 pieces of school leather goods, and are currently sold at Éxito stores.
Valle del Cauca-based Company Mundo Maderas awarded as a 2020 innovative promise
Three ex-combatants lead the cabinetmaking project called Mundo Maderas. They were selected from among 80 nominated initiatives and won an Award for companies of great shared value, delivered by ANDI and its Foundation, USAID, ACDI / VOCA and Portafolio, for outstanding values of social impact and competitiveness.
The Agency for Reincorporation and Normalization (ARN) and the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) signed a cooperation agreement worth COP $ 2,341 million to strengthen agricultural projects and initiatives of 1,797 Farc-Ep ex-combatants currently in the process of social and economic reincorporation.

Ex-combatant promoted rafting festival approved
The Municipal Council at San Vicente del Caguán (Caquetá) approved the Rafting Festival sponsored by ‘Remando por la paz’ – Rowing for Peace, a Rafting Team made up of Farc-Ep Ex-combatants and participants in the last World Cup held in Australia. The competition is schedule to commence this coming November, and it will be held on a yearly basis.
