  • Productive projects of ex-combatants already have protection from the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce - SIC. Desde la Raíz (From the Roots) program is a strategy of the Agency for Reincorporation and Normalization (ARN) that promotes the productive initiatives of the ex-combatant population in reintegration and reincorporation processes to showcase their products visible on digital platforms.

The Superintendency of Industry and Commerce recognized the work carried out by the ex-combatants who decided to bet on peace and through Resolution 3836 of February the 3rd, 2021, granting the registration of the mixed trademark “Desde La Raíz, Hechos Con Historia" – From the Roots, Made with History.

According to the SIC, the ARN-supported brand identifies and promotes products and services of third parties, and supports the work people carry out from the territories in reincorporation and reintegration processes.

In turn, ARN Director Andrés Felipe Stapper stated thus, “The ARN has been working on the 'Desde la Raíz' strategy to showcase the products and services of our ex-combatant population. This is an opportunity for those who laid down their arms and bet on entrepreneurship from the territories; this project epitomizes the effort and spirit of the ex-combatants to continue advancing on their path of Peace with Legality".

The SIC further highlighted the work of the Agency to promote Peace with Legality actions of the National Government. Desde la Raíz (From the Roots) is an initiative that promotes productive projects of those who integrate the reintegration and reincorporation processes, including activities such as tourism, clothing, handicrafts, consumer products and agriculture, among other services", highlighted the Superintendency.
