Advisor to the General Directorate for the construction of the Institutional Policy on Women and Gender Equality and the implementation of the Union Agreements​

Born in the department of Cauca, is a feminist, pacifist, and Human Rights activist. She holds degrees in Anthropology from the University of Cauca, with a specialized title in Territorial Public Management; Magister Degree in Territorial Government from the Javeriana University. She has a wide experience in creating territorial gender mechanisms and women's rights and gender equality policy design. Formerly job position as Departmental Secretary of Women of Cauca (2013-2015) and coordination in the Gender Working Group of the Truth Commission of Colombia (2018-2022).

In 2014 she received the "Leaders for Development" international distinction in Argentina, due to her contribution in the defence, promotion, and guarantee in the women´s rights in Latin America. In 2018 she received the recognition from the University of Cauca for her contribution to the construction of territorial peace and gender equality actions.
