Psychologist with experience in management and coordination positions among programs and projects. She has extensive experience in research and evaluation, dialogue, coordination, and divulgation of humanitarian standards with different social sectors in Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law (IHL) for the protection of the civilians. She has developed psychosocial support with individuals and community's victims of political and social violence, as well as among community risk management processes and Rights Restoration. Former member of the Truth Commission; Special Jurisdiction for Peace, former investigator at the University of York in the United Kingdom, leaded the Swiss organization Geneva Call for 10 years. Awarded in 2015 for the first time in Latin America, the prize awarded by the Prix Henry Dunant Geneva Foundation, for her labour in the diffusion of the International Humanitarian Standards in the “Territory “category. Distinguished in the VI version of the recognition of Human Rights defenders – 2015 in the department of Cauca.
